Sam founded College AIM in 2013 and has served as Executive Director for the past seven years. In this capacity, Sam has counseled more than 600 students through the college process, applying to and securing financial aid at technical colleges, two year colleges and four year institutions across the country. Collectively his students have earned more than $50 million in scholarship and grant offers. Today, he works with school, district, corporate and nonprofit partners to expand College AIM’s reach and direct the vision of the organization.

Prior to College AIM, Sam spent six years as a math and special education teacher at Towers High School. He was named Towers High School Teacher of the Year in 2016 and was a 2011 Teach for America Corps Member. Sam graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelors of Science in Human Development.
