Jamaar Logan currently serves as a Regional Post-Secondary Transition Specialist for the DeKalb County Schools District (DCSD). In this role, Jamaar is responsible for the design and implementation of a strategy to ensure all students are college and career ready. Jamaar has over 15 years of experience leading college access programs in partnership with school districts.
Jamaar is a graduate of the Columbia University-College Advising Program, New Leaders Council Atlanta and Portland State University Institute for Youth Mentoring. Jamaar holds a master’s degree in Youth Development Leadership from Clemson University, and a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Morehouse College.
